Everything you need to know about Sainik Schools and our preparation program
Sainik Schools are military schools established by the Sainik Schools Society under the Ministry of Defence. They prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other defense services, providing quality education with a strong focus on physical and character development.
For Class 6 admission, candidates should be between 10-12 years of age, and for Class 9, between 13-15 years as on 31st March of the year of admission. The exact age criteria may vary slightly year to year, so it's best to check the latest AISSEE notification.
The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) is usually conducted in January every year. Applications start around September-October. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and notifications are published on their official website.
The exam covers Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence. For Class 6, the exam is of 300 marks, while for Class 9, it's 400 marks. Our program provides comprehensive preparation for all these subjects with regular mock tests and practice sessions.
Currently, there are 33 Sainik Schools spread across India, with at least one in most states. Some of the notable ones include Sainik School Ghorakhal (Uttarakhand), Sainik School Kazhakootam (Kerala), Sainik School Kunjpura (Haryana), and Sainik School Rewa (Madhya Pradesh). The government has plans to expand with more schools in the near future.
The selection process involves a written examination followed by a medical examination and interview. Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for the medical test and interview. Final merit is prepared based on performance in all three stages. Our program includes specialized interview preparation to help students succeed.
